Debongshi is dedicated to assisting individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and mental health-related challenges by equipping them with tools and techniques for understanding the art of conscious and healthy living. As an integral component of his distinctive spiritual training, he provides holistically-integrated psychotherapy from a non-judgmental perspective.
In his capacity as a trained spiritual counsellor, registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and meditation teacher, Debongshi boasts an extensive 30-year tenure in the spiritual counselling field. His commitment to this cause materialized in the establishment of a charitable organization in Saskatchewan, where he has effectively engaged with diverse populations, spanning adults, adolescents, couples, and families, offering both individual and group counselling services across Canada.
With an overarching goal to support and empower individuals throughout their healing process, Debongshi is dedicated to effecting positive change in their lives. Adina (she/her) is a warm and compassionate Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is committed to working in a neuro-affirming and culturally sensitive way. If you are struggling with difficult feelings, anxiety, depression, trauma, or related mental health challenges, Adina will work collaboratively with you to help you to grow in self-awareness and achieve greater self-acceptance. She will achieve this through providing a safe and non-judgmental space to explore with you your greatest challenges.
Adina incorporates a flexible and integrative approach to counselling with a focus on developing and maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship. As a student, she has some training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, EMDR, as well as a strong commitment to continued education and enhancing her therapeutic skills. Brendan practices person-centered therapy and is focused on listening to, connecting with, and encouraging his clients in a non-judgemental manner. He is supportive of the LGBTQ+ community and has experience working with a variety of individuals including those who face anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, disabilities, life transitions, and chronic health conditions. As an individual who is visually impaired and manages chronic health conditions, Brendan brings a unique set of experiences to the counselling environment. His life circumstances have helped him understand how it feels to face stigma and challenging situations, as well as the powerful influence of professional help.
In his education and personal life, Brendan has been particularly drawn to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy. These practices have had a dramatic positive impact on his life, and he desires to share what he has learned with others. He has been practicing mindfulness & meditation for over eight years and has been meditating daily for over six years. He integrates mindfulness, self-compassion, and evidence-supported interventions into his practices and is committed to supporting and working alongside his clients.
